What is this website?⋆｡°✩

I wanted to keep this website true to me, a website that i could show to my family/friends and have them instantly recognise that i made it. This website is the manifestation of my personality.

Why keep this arguably outdated aesthitic? Because the old internet was about freedom and expression! sure the decoration choices might be overstimulating and busy but thats the point! Back when the web was for you and yourself only, no appealing to the masses with a uniform aesthitc. Not every thing you see was a ploy to get you to buy something or subscribe. Just pure self expression.

While prototyping this website i spent alot of time on neocities and the way-back machine browsing old websites and old web inspired websites. I wanted to keep the design and layout of my website true to authentic y2k webpages, this includes a lot of subsections that are a staple of y2k personal websites. Shrines , image archives and gaming log are a few features.

That being said this website is for myself before anyone else,to document my intrests and improve my web-dev skill! I hope you enjoy browsing!

About me!

I am a 22 year old computer science student ! Ive always loved old tech , maybe its because up untill recently it was the only tech i actually owned lol. I still had and actively used a VHS untill about 2011! and ive had my PS2 since 2005 (well the original kicked the bucket in 2011 RIP i got replacement). I collect retero (i feel old calling these retero) electronics like ipods and older generation hand helds, A PSP and a ps1 are on my list to buy and mod!

Current i am working on a double screen and shell replacement for my DS Lite! I am also currently playing the witcher 3 and final fanatasy rebirth (if that wasnt obvious from the game log)

My favourite game series are Persona , Final fantasy, Skyrim and Tekken! and i mainly game on my PC , PS2 and Switch

My favourite artists are LOONA , YVES , LE SSERAFIM and RED VELVET (see a theme lol)
